The Hermit is one of my favorite archetypes to spend time with, and meditate on. The one who garners wisdom from a felt sense of connection to the whole world in profound contrast to the solitude required to get there. A cultivated mysticism reflecting a relationship to inner light. Self-isolationist for the sake of creating a sacred container for growth. There is much to be learned from our periods of solitude.
